This hotel is a fantastic find, with superb staff and funky rooms that each feature a private hot spring bath. the baths are amazing with hot water, while the cold tap can be used to cool down. They also have private Onsens in the basement which are free to use, unlike other hotels. the hotel also provides a free driver service, so guests can easily go to different places such as the nearby Shirarahama beach or restaurants. the rooms are well-equipped with heating facilities and towels.
The hotel lacks a tall enough mirror for getting ready, with the only mirror above the sink not being very convenient.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel - the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and even offered a free pick-up and drop-off service to nearby attractions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, complete with a private balcony and hot spring bath. We also appreciated the fact that the hotel provided plenty of towels and toiletries, and that there was a lift available for guests.
Although our overall experience was great, we did encounter some issues with the payment process. The hotel claimed that their credit card machine was not functioning due to a recent typhoon, but we had no issues using our cards at nearby establishments.

As someone who has stayed in many Japanese onsens, The Hotel Shirahama Onsen was a fantastic experience. The private onsen on the balcony of my room offered a stunning view of the scenery around me. The hotel facilities, including the lift and free driver service, made my stay more comfortable. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and willing to drive me to different places around the area, so I didn't miss out on anything.
Nothing - everything was great.

The hotel had hot springs in every room and the view from the room was beautiful. They had a shuttle service that took us to the beach and back. the staff, though not very friendly, were courteous.
The hotel was very overpriced for what it offered. the hotel was situated in a remote location making it an inconvenience to get around.
